FAQ

1. Do you put slideshows on VHS tapes?

No. VHS tapes have a lower quality of picture output and do not last, they get static and can break. Also, VCRs are just about obsolete.

2. Why are your prices so low?

One of our main goals is to make it so everyone can share their memories or safe guard from loss without paying an arm and a leg. We use top quality equipment and supplies and take short cuts in other places so, we have a low overhead.

3. How many photos should I use in my slideshow?

For best results at least 40-60.

4. How many  songs should I chose?

It depends on how many photos you have. Typically a photo is displayed on average of 8 seconds, could be up to 9 if they are panned. There needs to be enough songs to cover the time.We will adjust display times to fit with songs if at all possible.

5. How long should my slideshow be?

It really depends on the occasion. Our suggestion is if it will be playing in the background, it can be as long as you want. If people are expected to sit and watch it 10-15 minutes. If it is for one individual to watch at their leisure, no time limit. We made one slideshow for a daughter turning 18 and graduating, so the photos were all through her life from birth to now; it was over 20 minutes long.

 6. Can't I make my own slideshow?

You can if you have the time to learn how to do it, a computer to handle it, and all the equipment required to do a good job. Most people do not have the time or all the right stuff to make a professional looking slideshow.

7. What resolution should I scan my photos?

At least 300dpi.

 8. What format do you need music to be in?

Preferrably, MP3 format. Music must be on a CD.
